Industria
Summary
Alright, listen up, young gamers of Ontario! If you’re ready for a wild ride that combines epic FPS action with a twisted tale that feels like it crawled straight outta a steampunk fever dream, then get hyped for Industria! Released in September 2021 by the awesome devs at Bleakmill, you’re about to step into a thrilling narrative that’ll take you from the chaotic streets of East Berlin straight into a mind-bending parallel reality just before the epic fall of the Berlin Wall.
Now, before you think “puzzle” and chill, let me tell you: this is no slow-paced snooze fest! You’ll be plunging headfirst into the mystery of a missing coworker who’s gone MIA in this bizarre world where the line between fact and fiction gets a little too blurry. You’ll wield your trusty weapons while keeping an eye out for creepy enemies lurking in the shadows, ready to make you rage-quit when you least expect it. Trust me; sifting through surreal environments while trying not to get trolled by the bosses is no easy feat!
As you navigate through darkened factories and twisty urban landscapes, you’ll solve puzzles that’ll challenge your brain without putting you in “cooperative stealth mission” mode—you know, the ones where you have to tip-toe around like a ninja (no thanks!). Instead, it's all about that fast-paced, heart-pounding action sprinkled with just the right amount of mystery that keeps you guessing. You’ll feel like a total action hero trying to piece together the terrifying backstory while taking down foes with headshots from the shadows.

Millenial dialogue (and monologue)
great atmosphere, amazing sound design, just long enough to not bore.
Please change the graphical settings to NOT sync up using cloud saves, it causes the game to be unplayable on ultrawide displays because it tries to use the graphical presets and display settings from 16:9 devices like Steam Deck. This results in UI elements not being selectable with a mouse or keyboard from the mismatch of trying to display 16:9 content on a 21:9 display. Using the cursor to highlight and change resolution options doesn’t work. I have tried to fix this on my own but I cannot find the correct config file to reset the display settings to their default values. If you only play on 16:9 monitors then I wouldn’t worry about this but beware if you play on an ultrawide monitor and occasionally use 16:9 devices and swap back and forth.
